Skream- under the city lights

Skream Under The City Lights by Coconut Club

Sometimes I'll get a piece of a song stuck in my head, and takes like 2 days to figure out who it's by. So I'm a big fan of stuff that sticks out.

This song is a little old, but it's new to me. Skream was an early pioneer in the development of dubstep. And by dubstep I mean the genera as it existed before college towns got a hold of it-- and ruined it with TV themesongs. These days it's like listening to videoclips that are punctuated by whoomps.

Most recently Skream has done remixes for Cassius and Magnetic Man.

  1. WOW. Majestic picture. Very unreal light intensity, though. It was enhanced by a long exposure time.

  2. Haven't heard this one either :) Loving the laid back dubbish style. The vocals really add to this track as well! There is nothing worse than listening to a good track and then some terrible vocals ruin the entire song. The only dubstep I like is dubstep that does NOT follow the cliche "creepy voice womp womp womp creepy voice". This fits :) Definitely reminds me of a Magnetic Man.

Thanks for the input too! I'll try that software out =D

  11. Great pic man! Skrillex was playing at Ultra just 45 mins away from my house! If tickets weren't 100$ for one day I surely would of gone! :P
